 CARE OF FLOWERS

To make sure Keepsake Flower Preservation, in Rochester, NY receives your flowers in the best possible condition please follow these instructions. Keepsake Flower Preservation is located in Rochester, NY a short drive from Buffalo, NY or Syracuse, NY. Keepsake Flower Preservation is the only preservation company in the North East to offer EARTH FRIENDLY flower preservation--no chemicals.

Flowers that are in a plastic holder with green oasis as a water source:
After the wedding, keep the flowers DRY and COOL (always refrigerate but NEVER FREEZE). Do not spray with water.
Wrap the bouquet lightly with DRY paper towels or tissue paper and keep in the refrigerator until delivery to Keepsake Flower Preservation. Take care that the flowers do not freeze. Wrap lightly so that they do not get crushed. Change to dry wrapping if it becomes wet. Flowers that are received right after the wedding (within 48 hours) usually result in a better finished product. We can press "older" flowers, but for 3D the flowers MUST be as fresh as possible or they fall apart.

Flowers that are hand held and have stems showing (often the stems will be wrapped in ribbon):
Remove the ribbon. Slice off about 1 inch of the stems and place the bouquet in a vase with clean fresh water. Place DRY paper towels over the top and keep in the refrigerator until delivery to our studio.

If sending multiple bouquets, please label each with the correct names etc. If you prefer, a friend or relative may deliver the bouquet. Please call (585) 338-7448 and let us know what time you are planning to bring the bouquets.

Even if you have not planned for it, often a bridesmaid or relative wants a little keepsake made. Please be sure to wrap their special flowers and label it with their name, address and telephone number-we will contact them to see what they would like to have made.

Contact info can be found on Contact Keepsake page.
