When
selecting flowers for preservation artwork think
about choosing several complementary colors (one color
alone is not as striking in the finished
picture). It is also important to choose different
shapes and sizes of flowers for contrast and
interest.
Some flowers preserve better than
others in either preservation process.
Roses work the best for
preservation--period!!
Glue: Some florists use glue to hold the
flowers in the bouquet. This presents a problem to
the floral preservation specialist because it is very
difficult to remove the flowers from the bouquet without
damaging them. The glue gets into our equipment and
destroys it along with your precious flowers.
Please ask your florist not to use
glue in the construction of your
bouquet. THANKS!
