  TIPS

First come first served, if you want your flowers preserved you
MUST put in your reservation ASAP.

It is important that we receive your flowers
as fresh as possible usually within 48 hours of event.

Tips to keep your flowers in the best condition possible for preservation:

  • Keep flowers cool in refrigerator—cover gently with dry paper towels.

  • Do not freeze

  • Do not spray with water—the flower heads must remain dry

  • If stems are showing cut off 1 inch and put in vase of water then refrigerate

  • Please call us so that someone will be at our studio to receive them—
within the first 48 hours is important
    —the fresher the better—585-338-7448

When selecting flowers for preservation artwork think about choosing several complementary colors (one color alone is not as striking in the finished picture). It is also important to choose different shapes and sizes of flowers for contrast and interest.

Some flowers preserve better than others in either preservation process.

Roses work the best for preservation--period!!

Glue: Some florists use glue to hold the flowers in the bouquet. This presents a problem to the floral preservation specialist because it is very difficult to remove the flowers from the bouquet without damaging them. The glue gets into our equipment and destroys it along with your precious flowers.

Please ask your florist not to use glue in the construction of your bouquet. THANKS!
